Paladin Consulting is currently hiring a Cash Management Specialist to join our team working onsite at our client’s office located in Rochester, NY.

Job Title:Cash Management Specialist Work Location:Rochester, NY Duration: 4 month contract with option to extend Education/Experience Required:Associates degree in Finance, Accounting, or Math Preferred Job Description: With minimal supervision, accurately processes check, ACH and euro payments utilizing the applicable financial system related to Accounts Payable.

Provides vendor or client customer service and ensures timely and accurate problem resolution.

Makes recommendations for changes to various payments methods and frequency of check processing.

Responsibilities : Maintains documents for all aspects relating to clientdisbursements and appropriately stops and avoids disbursements to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Researches and analyzes abandoned property and returned checks, and maintains in all applicable systems to ensure accuracy of records.

Performs the necessary course of action, up to and including journal entries.

Completes the research, coding and deposit of live checks received at the Corporate Office to ensure checks are managed appropriately.

Maintains responsibility for or assists with managing internal gift card requests, monitoring card stock, and performing necessary journal entries utilizing the systems currently available to ensure departmental tasks are completed timely.

Maintains general knowledge of other duties in Accounts Payable and may perform other duties as assigned to support the general purpose of the position’s function or team, up to and including auditing of expense reports.

Handles both inbound and outbound phone calls as it relates to appropriate aspects of job to provide service to customers.

Maintains documents, records and reviews to ensure compliance with both clientpolicies and Sarbanes Oxley.

Documentation may be required to be scanned into Web Ors or another applicable imaging system.

Writes and maintains all applicable procedures related to the job function or other related areas.

Skills & Qualifications : Associates degree in Finance, Accounting, or Math Preferred 3-5 years of experience in Accounts payable, Bookkeeping or other related function required Excellent communication and follow up skills Strong demonstration of initiative and accountability Strong partnership skills Advanced excel skills including v-lookups, pivot tables and charts and Acess Demonstrates analytical skills, problem solving, and written communication skills Knowledge of Oracle Products.

Must have strong customer service skills.

Should have a comprehensive understanding of NACHA, IACH and positive pay.
